The death of my false masculine, the completion of the air cycle represented by the 10 of swords, takes me to the Libra New Moon Annular Eclipse.
Calling in an Emotional Deep Dive.
My intention for the new moon is to explore my water-body, in the Daoist tradition: the sea of emotions. Kundalini has gotten me so far, let’s switch to Lao Tzu for this month
Teachers for this:
- Mark Wolynn
- Sean, Stergios and Bing.
- My own body: hip stretches
- Losing track of time— the moon.
- my moon in Scorpio Astrology.
- breathwork journaling.
- Butterfly Medicine in the Native American tradition
- Dragon medicine in Qi Gong tradition (will learn in time).
- Stretches past my limit.
- The earth mother.
- The alchemy of presence.
- Nei/Qi Gong
- My inner child’s love of maps and symbols—the roots of the magician archetype.
- Dance
Leaving behind that which doesn’t serve:
* The warrior — putting our relationship on ice so I can go deep on emotional release. You can serve me only by getting me to work and by getting me to stay on track on goal. I’m realizing I have a much deeper relationship with you than I thought: as a scientist/ engineer in a lineage of 4 such males, I’m the social class this nation puts to work in its defense and power. Great grandpa: railroad design, grandpa: highway engineering, oil discovery computer programming. Same with dad. We’ve rebelled but we’ve never been far from the US military industrial complex.
Bringing my teachings with the alchemistress to a close, in a final ritual and healing.
Moving too fast— slowing down interactions so I can feel into myself.
Literally all expectations, other than agreements with partners.
Including overcoming fear to do certain things in public: let’s dance in public, I’ll sing to myself, bop with music on the subway station, hum while eating tasty food. Even breathing intensely. Or tapping my leg. I can fix body habits later
Including linearity. I often find myself the mediating, central force in group dynamics. A Taurus with Leo Ascendant. So I often take on the group role of being even keeled instead of being wild. But I don’t need to be that anymore. Time to say what I want and be the unmoored one (if I want to)
Including civilizing influences. Let’s call in the rewilding of self!
How?
I call upon the archetype of Hermione Granger:
Mapping of Emotional states
Symbol, body part. Time of day.
I call upon the playfulness of my inner child: make rules that could apply for each day, inner drama queen : make the day thematic.
