Curious about something:
Why are most of my spirit guides male, but my living guides female? Where’s the gender equity?
What if… the men in my life needed to die to see the big picture? Why would that have to be? Is there still such an imbalance in the sexes? Didn’t we fix that in the 70s? That’s the consensus: feminists asked for power, they got it, what more can they want?
Women asked for power. After thousands of years we give the power they ask for, and we think it’ll all be equalized in one generation?? Especially when we’re so childlike! We men said “Fine, you want my toy? I’ll give it to you, let me just smear it in some dogshit first”. And then we’ll pout and not play the game. We’ll give you the right to vote, sure, and jobs in our system, but then we’ll also still ask for you to do all the emotional work, keep track of birthdays and preferences and make people feel seen, and then ask you to work as many hours as us. That’s the dogshit. And then when you do still show up and do all that work plus the job and you’re so tired from it and have a headache and can’t be hot and desirous to us, we’ll call you frigid. That’s the pouting. We’ll also stop voting. Fine, you want this toy! I’ll give it to you, and see how much you really want it! And in fact we’ll say fuck the system, let’s vote for a man who will get rid of voting, since that’s the way to get our toy back. That’s why when I see any man saying don’t vote, I say fuck that.
We are acting like children.
We are giving a system of power that used to only belong to us white-cis-het men over to everyone else, finally, but — in childish spite— many of us are self-sabotaging it out of protest. No wonder everyone feels like it’s out of balance. A third of us are racing to build a parallel system of billionaire authoritarian control, another third are checking out, not voting, or throwing in the towel fully and getting lost in opioids, and the last third are voting for the strongmen to take them back to their male warrior kingdoms.
We men are acting like children out of spite.
The Age of Darkness is coming to a close despite us, not thanks to us.
