When Daniel Day Lewis
Saved her life.
And she looked at him,
Knowing without his action,
She would no longer be,
No longer exist.
When the couple feeds each other,
That is a root chakral relation.
When they can’t believe
the ecstatic,
the bliss states,
the weave and the wave
They can both reach
Through each other’s love-making.
That is a sacral chakra relation
When the attraction of power
Pulls them towards each other
Like two suns,
Emanating rays
Creating gravity:
The power couple.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z
That is a solar plexus relation.
When the universal language
The language Of love
pours through them,
And they could melt
Into the earth and sky,
Because they are beings of light,
Pulse Drums beating as one:
That is a heart chakral relation.
When they can co-create
His voice harmonizing with hers,
White and black swans
Tracing energy lines with their dance,
When they write that song together,
Or bring forth
The most simple yet wonderful nest.
That is a throat chakral relation.
When her vision is lensed,
Focused by his,
And the concepts he can dream
Fall into step with her words,
When their eyes lock
And become a hall of mirrors
Infinite possibilities,
Opening doors,
That is a third eye relation.
When Joshua joined
With Mary Magdalene
Their halos touching
Like two drums
Sovereignly communicating.
When the light in me
Bows to the light in you.
That is a crown chakral relation.
Each of us relates to each other
In a different blend of the seven chakras
Just as seven colors form shining light.
Imagine your beloved in front of you
Imagine that light coming from you,
That’s the spectrum of your love.
Your love is light made from the seven colors.
This is just a map,
Scrawled on papyrus:
Root is red,
Sacral is Orange,
Solar is Yellow,
Heart is Pink,
Throat is Blue,
Third Eye is Indigo,
Crown is ultraviolet.
See that emanating from you
What if you could learn to play with the emission?
The rays changing tone and hue
like dancing aurora borealis.
What if you start from the sun within,
See your beloved react,
If they need more sustenance
Then emit from the root,
If they need assurance,
Share from the heart,
If they want to dance,
Then create with your throat chakra.
You’ve already been doing this.
You’ve been relating your whole life.
You’ve been chakral relating your whole life.
Then how is this map useful,
When it’s so obvious that you already know it?
Well, maps aren’t needed for the known,
But for the places you don’t know.
Are there any territories unexplored on that map?
Where you’re scared you might be dissonant?
You might be comfortable with root-relating, good at cooking for each other,
But have you ever sung together?
So many doors to open,
In each of our relationships.
I, your humble map-collector,
Am embarking into the unknown
Of crown chakral relating.
Here I go.
